Jackwood House Garden

Another cold, winter’s day and a wonderful 10 volunteers, turned out to continue clearing the brambles from the Terrace.

Great teamwork involved six people digging out roots while another four filled the wheelbarrows with woodchip and walked that long route to the terrace avoiding the steps and returning with their barrows filled with the garden waste. Who needs a gym with exercise like this, beautiful surroundings and friendly people?
